Moco Moco FC
Three goals were scored on Match Day Three of the Theresa and George Bobb – RFA Under-17 Women’s round-robin 2019 tournament being held at the St Ignatius Sports Club where the Guyana Rush Saints FC commands the points table with six points after their second consecutive win in the tournament.
The last match up of the teams on August 9 saw three matches being played with wins for Moco-Moco FC and Guyana Rush Saints FC by a 1 – 0 vs Terminators FC and a 2 – 0 over Gladiators FC respectively. The third match ended on a nil-all tie between Rising Stars FC and Tabatinga FC.
Naomi Scopio scored the winner for Moco-Moco in the 40th minute securing the victory for her team but the result does not quite reflect the story of the match as her team had to put on a valiant fight against the aggressive Terminators who were intent on also registering a win.
Nina Cabral – Guyana Rush Saints FC’s Goal Scorer
The second match saw Nina Cabral scoring in the 34th and 36th minute for her Guyana Rush Saints FC against a very competitive Gladiators FC. While the goals were scored in the first half, it was the more competitive half but the Guyana Rush Saints FC ladies were the more dominant and eventually secured the three points in the championship when the match ended on 2 – 0.
The final match of the day – Rising Stars FC vs Tabatinga FC – also treated the fans to some very exciting individual skills but the 50 minutes could not separate the two teams and they only had to settle for a nil-all draw when the final whistle sounded.

- MATCH 2: Terminators FC vs Far East SC @ 18:00hrs
- MATCH 3: Saints FC v Rising Stars FC @ 19:00hrs
