The National Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the female 11-a-side Inter-Guiana Games (IGG) team, Akilah Castello and Tricia Munroe respectively, reflected on the tournament.
They also spoke about the developmental pathway for young female footballers, the qualities which are preferred in a national player, the misconceptions of female footballers and lessons learned thus far.
Guyana participated in the Inter-Guiana Games (IGG) which was held in Suriname from the 25th – 27th August, 2017.
