Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assist the Referees Council
- To implement decisions adopted by the Referees Council
- To carry out all tasks related to the logistics of refereeing
- To carry out all administrative duties of the refereeing department
- To implement programmes to develop the Referees according to the guidelines approved by the Referees Council
- To organize courses for Referees, Referee Instructors and Referee Assessors
- To prepare and produce teaching materials in line with the Laws of the Game issued by IFAB
- To report regularly on activities to the Referees Council either directly or through the General Secretary of the GFF
- Propose and prepare budgets, including the annual budget
Personal attributes
- Broad experience in the field of refereeing
- Excellent personal presentation and proven high standard of oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy and distracting environment.
- Proven capacity in the successful design and coordination of courses, activities and events.
- Ability and willingness to take direction.
- Willingness to travel across the country and internationally and work considerably “out of normal office hours”.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a FIFA International Referee.
- Diploma or Certificate in Management, Project Management, or any other related field.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
