Launch of GFF-Exxonmobil International Futsal Festival
The Guyana Football Federation (GFF), in collaboration with ExxonMobil, launched an International Futsal Festival today at 12:00hrs in the GFF’s Boardroom.
The festival is scheduled for December 27 – 30 and will feature the participation of eight teams – Four (4) Regional Member Association (RMA) Selections, a Guyana Selection, along with three overseas Teams namely: East Demerara FA Selection, Georgetown FA Selection, Upper Demerara FA Selection, West Demerara FA Selection, Guyana Selection, Caledonia AIA FC (Trinidad & Tobago), Sao Paulo Selection (Brazil), and ZV All-Stars (Suriname).
Among those scheduled who gave remarks at the launch are GFF’s President Wayne Forde, Hon. Minister of Social Cohesion, Dr. George Norton, GFF’s Director of Competitions, Mr. Ian Alves and ExxonMobil Communications Advisor, Nicholas Yearwood.
